Document every single piece of paper in your house. Personal and corporate docs. Every bank account. Children’s stuff. Like things you think you’ll never need. You will need them.
Make a daily log of interactions between the two of you. Record (if you can safely) anything said between the two of you whether personal or corporate.
Make an escape plan.
Hide cash outside of the home.
Hire independent attorney. Hire someone not in your community if need be. I went to an entirely different city for mine.
Get out.
If any physical violence get an EPO.
Start to see a therapist who can help you.
I filed the divorce papers in our family city so when we go to court he has to face the embarrassment of explaining to his peers his actions. Judges dont like it when lawyers in their community **** up. Best thing ever.
