If your ex is willing, and depending on your state, you can do a separation agreement and a divorce on your own the only thing you need to do is be able to agree on the separation of all the assets and then have a lawyer represent you and that person can even represent both of you in front of the judge to divorce without all the expense of Lawyer fee fees. That is how I was able to get my divorce or disillusion for less than $5000. It took approximately six months and I live in the state of Ohio. I hope this helps you.
