Caribbean Images TV established a Website (www.caribbeanimages.com) to further enhance communication throughout the Caribbean and African-American communities in the New York tri-state area. Caribbean Images TV is an informative and entertaining television program, which reaches over 26 million homes in the New York tri-state area. We cover news and feature stories across a wide range of topics including entertainment, culture, sports, as well as social and political issues. We provide local news coverage and information from the metropolitan area, as well as news coverage from the Caribbean islands. The program has covered many events, which include The Million-Man March in Washington, DC, the annual West Indian Day Parade, President Clinton at the White House, and special coverage at ground zero on 9/11. Caribbean images TV has also featured special topics such as immigration, US Census 2000, HIV/AIDS epidemic, and Election coverage. Caribbean Images TV will be airing on Friday 8 PM – WNYX UHF – TV 26, Saturday 7 PM BCAT Cable TV 35/68, and Tuesday 2 PM WNYX TV 26. Peter has brought his high style and excitement to his career as host of Caribbean Images TV. Peter Pouchon has received several rewards from city and state elected officials for community service. He is an active member of the Afro-Caribbean American Youth Alliance (ACAYA). He is the executive Vice President of the Haitian American Journalist and is also known as a photojournalist. Caribbean Images TV will be celebrating the Seventh Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Awards on January 18, 2003 at the Holiday Inn JFK Airport located at 144-02 135th Ave., Jamaica, New York.
