That's a totally different argument than "its no secret" that U19 T1 teams are better than preps - that just isn't true.
I disagree that club coaches / directors wont push the college recruiting process. 99% don't but find the right one and commit to the club and process and you would be surprised. Players cant keep jumping clubs chasing banners at 16/19 and think they will get assistance. Be loyal and commit to the process.
Genuinely curious as to which clubs/directors are doing a good job - which clubs do a good job?
Their development model is great. Focused on improving skills and transfer to games. Added bonus of not having to travel all over New England on a Sunday for a meaningless NEGHL game.
Ha ha - yea cause that's what its all about - BANNERS. Steal everyone else's talent to make super teams to win States while all your dedicated long term families are pushed down to the 3-5 teams. Not developing hockey players. For what its worth I believe they are eligible this upcoming season.
Can confirm that they will be eligible for teams to play in States/Nationals. Hope they keep the the focus on development - that's more important. Chasing a State/National title - the juice doesn't seem to be worth the squeeze in the end.
It is by invitation only. They train on Sundays at the same time every week. One hour on skills development followed by a one hour scrimmage. They put a team in at NAHA and also run fall showcases and will invite other teams like Northwood and CT Polar Bears to play.
Well over 50% committed to these colleges before they ever went to play for Lil Fuss the mute.
