I think they are the future. They have had a good first year it’s been kinda chaotic because they are staying in hotels because the academy isn’t finished yet. 60k is ridiculous especially for online school…online school is free the town pays for it. Lovell does have the connections that most coaches do not have which is a good thing. But lovell/advantage coaches are kinda crazy. They have good skills i’ve heard but the coaches do not know how to coach.
I don’t know. Right now I know it’s online school because they’re staying in the hotel. And I know they’ve hired teachers but since the academy isn’t done yet they can’t teach their so i’m not sure. The academy was supposed to be finished at the end of last may beginning of june and I took my kid for a tournament there a couple weeks ago and the academy is not even close to being done and the rink will is open to skate but their bar and all the other fun activities aren’t done. I believe
I recently spoke to a Lovell parent. It is NOT online. They have real teachers (I don't know anything about the teachers or the curriculum). They're using spaces within the rink that are unused during weekdays.

Yes, the classrooms they will have aren't finished yet. Buildings still in progress.
I think what people are forgetting in their answers is they are an academy. They don't need to play in a league. Guy above was correct. Look at NAHA. Half the price and 3 x the games. Games agaisnt top tier 1 competition across North America. That is what Lovell should be doing. If you are willing to attend a hockey academy you need to be willing to travel. Travel to the competition and top tournaments is the key if you want to play the best. Otherwise you sit home and play VJW and other **** clubs around NE and NY.

Because playing the flames and winning 9-0 is good hockey! Haha

Lovell lions beat the flames 9 to 0 ?
Try to stay up and actually read the post. Cliff notes: Wizzies beat flames 9 zip. People are ragging Lovell for not playing real competition and someone said Wizz clobbering teams 9 zip isn't making them any better either and they play in the NEGHL. Both of the teams need to take that almighty big step and fill out the application for some of the good National tournaments. Pay the 1500 bucks AND travel to them and play. Not too difficult.

The Lovell girls are mainly 09’s. The top Wizards team is almost all 08’s. A year of Lovell development they will at the top of the U14’s by the time they are 08’s.

You are forgetting the factory doesn't slow down over there in Bedford. Your implying that the 09 Lovell girls will develop and be on top next year. Wizards will do the same they do every year. 08s will age up. Best 09s will stay on the team, best 09s from 2nd team will move up and best 10s from 12s will move up. Quick look at MHR shows their 12s at #1 and their 14 -2s at #2. I doubt they are worried about their pipeline. Wash, rinse repeat.
