So can a player go D1 from this league. I mean directly from this league to D1? I know the Covid year they took credit for a ton of players who played 15 games in the bubble but not much of anything sense. Seems like league leading scorers go to decent D3, is that correct?
Do most use this league as a stepping stone to NAHL and see what happens from there?

Many players go D1 from NCDC. In fact NCDC is one of the top junior leagues in North America.

Let me waste a few years of my life in a crap league to hopefully crack a D3 roster at a school with no rink and no fans. Or better yet, get cut and have to go pay to play in the EHL, age out, and get some interest from Johnson and Wales or the power house that is Anna Maria. Maybe a MASCAC and not touch the ice for a year or 2! Sounds fun doesn’t it.
If you’re playing NCDC you’re most likely ending up at a middle of the road / higher end d3 as a good player on team not the best because those will be the NAHL/ BCHL kids. League already had a ton of NESCAC commitments.
But you’re spot on about the EHL and some kids are perfectly fine with that and I respect those kids a lot. If you’re top 10 in the league you will end up the same place as the NAHL, NCDC, BCHL kids at a D3 team.
Learn the landscape before you chirp everyone because little Johny thought he could go HS to tier 2 or better yet I’m not playing juniors I’m just going to school I’m
Not playing in the NHL. Why don’t you ask the D3 kids whose having the better college experience the kid that playing a sport they love competitive for a few more years in front of a small number of fans then going to hang out with them at a party or the kid playing 10;30 pm men’s league telling his 40 year old teammates he played with an NHL player in peewees who he was better than and working 9-5 at the age of 20. You have your entire life to work why not do something you love for a few extra years competitively before having to grow up.
