U16/U18

Teams should all be picked. Who will have solid teams?

Re: U16/U18

Rats
Whalers
Jr Bruins
Only teams worth playing for, they grab all the Prep kids

Re: U16/U18

Most 'prep' kids are no different than good catholic or good public...just the facts

Re: U16/U18

True, except Elite players are in prep and prep are much deeper. Preps deeper than Catholics who are deeper than top Mass Division 1 teams. U16/U18 are good alternatives especially those who are geographically or priced out of aforementioned.

Reading has 2 really good players who are juniors. Other than them, I can't think of one public school player who could make an impact at the prep level, besides the kid from Marshfield who is leaving.

Re: U16/U18

Those two are excellent for sure! Already committed to Division 1 schools ( one for hockey , one for lax). Plenty of other kids playing public that could easily be a top six forward or top four d man at catholic or prep. Does not mean they could go up to KUA or Salisbury, AOF, Cushing as a repeat junior and take on a prominent role. Certainly going to a lower to mid ISL school or smaller independent prep or somewhere similar, absolutely - Yes!

Those kids might need time to adjust but most would do fine and those who see and think the game at that speed would thrive for sure.

It is a step up for sure

"Impact" maybe not as there aren't that many prep kids that make an 'impact' but there are plenty that could be in the top half of a prep team. Summer tournaments you see it all of the time.
