Who are the favorites on this eve of big tournament?


U19: Wizards? Minnesota(which one is the best?) Shattuck? Spitfires(really?)
U16: Eagles(are the really that good?)? or Shattuck? or Minnesota Grey? Wizards(why are they here)
U14: Mid Fairfield(can 2 players carry the team) Wizards (why do they lose when it matters)? Pittsburgh? Little Caesers? Chicago Mission with their 29 losses?

Some girls from our town are there....what local teams are playing? I assume it's the Breakers.

No Breakers. Just ECW and Spits. ECW club is strong and so are Spits. Lots of players in both programs going onto Div 1 and 3 colleges next year, or have committed to Div 1 and 3 programs for the following year. Great opportunity to watch future of women's hockey with both ECW and Spits playing teams stacked with all-star players. Both Minnesota Elite White and Black account for 66% of the players from the recent U18 Women's National Team Gold Medal World Championships.

So it could get ugly. Like when our high school "Team Mass" goes out to MN and gets shelled.

ECW U19 loses 5-2 to Honeybaked. U19 Spits int shutout over MidFairfield 1-0. ECW U16 loses to Mid Fairfield 4-3. U14 Bay State Breakers over Honeybaked 5-3, ECW U14 over North Dakota 4-1.

Tier 1 East Coast Wizards U19 and MIdFairfield U19 out at end of pool play. Spitfires U19 Tier 1 advances after a shootout win against Lady Ducks from Anaheim. Spitfire U19 Tier 2 finishes pool play undefeated in Burlington. To the original poster that felt compelled to comment about the Spitfires being at Nationals......You underestimated what a team first concept can acheive.

It has been a great run, but after a few years, the Sorcerer is departing Bedford and heading to greener pastures. Or actually more golden pastures. My new name will be Eddie the Eagle. Look for me.

Wizards were nothing short of outstanding at nationals this year. What a run.

Eagles U16 are absolutely stacked. Hopefully Minnesota teams do not participate this year lest they be embarrassed by the Jr. Eagles. Going to be a heckuva ride. This team lost 5 or 6 average 99s and absolutely re-loaded with absolute stud replacements. Going to be an easy run. You heard it here first. Eagles are an even money favorites to be crowned champions in 11 1/2 months.
