I would be more interested in his playing and coaching resume as opposed to his philosophy!
Very good high school player that has done all he can do to learn about coaching. He will be an excellent coach, but at that level BBN has to support him and help him with his recruits. He has a great following of kids and parents that love his coaching.
He looks tiny so his playing resume might be a bit light but it looks like people believe in him. I will say a few years ago I was at a big tournament and watched a game with a fat kid who claimed he was scouting for the school and let me tell you this kid had no idea what he was watching....so it might be better.
It is unfortunate that people come on here and make up stories! He did resign and you can only coach a team that you have! When a school doesn't support some of their programs and you can't get kids in it is hard to win against schools that are birding players from Canada etc
That is true! Every grade can only get a certain amount of kids a year in. Hockey was never the priority sport to get kids in. If there was kid better at baseball or football they would take him over hockey. That's just how it is and was. It wasn't the coaches fault, he can't say yes or no. It is always a battle with the admissions department. The coach isn't going to make a difference it's still going to be the same team and the same battle with admissions. If your the best coach you can only coach the kids you have unfortunately. He was a great coach and the kids are devasted he is leaving!
He did resign ! I don't know where your information comes from!
