U16 seem to have the best talent and kids still trying to land an early commit. You'll see plenty of future D-I players there and if your kid is the same age fun to follow their path(s).
Pre-season HS hockey, check out some Mass Midget select league games. Jr. Bruins - Devine rink in Dorchester, Jr. Whalers - Canton sportsplex & River Rats play @ the new rink in Canton. Some of the best U16 & U18 hockey around. Mostly made up of the elite prep & private school kids.
During HS season, check out the rankings to follow the best teams and match ups. BC High, CM, Hingham & Xav. Bros. are a few of the top South of Boston schools to check out a game especially against a top ranked opponent like MC, SJP, PF etc.. Fast paced, talented & inspiring hockey to bring your squirt, pee wee or bantam to.
Go to the Flood-Marr tournament the weekend before Christmas, hosted by Noble & Greenough and Milton Academy. Some of the top prep schools in New England will be playing.

the hockey is good enough, the academics are top shelf and the beach is there! Great school if your hockey player can get in
