Jim Clark's S* List

When will they turn the D-1 into the 'State Public School Championship"????

1. AUSTIN PREP (13-0-2; LW 2) – Hard to believe, but we had to go back 15 years to find the last time (Jan. 21, 2002) that we had the Cougars ranked No. 1 overall.

2. BC HIGH (10-1-4; LW 7) – Pretty good week for the Eagles … beat three potential top-six teams, and give John Flaherty and staff their 100th win.

3. MALDEN CATHOLIC (8-2-3; LW 1) – The Lancers won’t have to wait to try to get revenge on BC High, unless the weather makes them wait …

4. CATHOLIC MEMORIAL (11-2-2; LW 5) – … and speaking of waiting, the Knights lurk in another key Catholic Conference showdown Saturday.

5. ARLINGTON (14-2-1; LW 3) – Now the Spy Ponders have to turn their focus to taking care of business in the Middlesex Liberty race.

6. CENTRAL CATHOLIC (10-3-3; LW 8) – The Raiders move up despite the loss to Malden Catholic, but now Andover looms again Saturday.

The wild cards: 7. Hingham (12-2-2; LW 6); 8. Pope Francis (11-3-1; LW 4); 9. Walpole (16-0-1; LW 9); 10. Marshfield (14-1-2; LW 10).

Re: Jim Clark's S* List

all kidding aside they should. The parameters that public and Catholic operate under are so different it makes no sense from a competitive standpoint to keep them together.

Re: Jim Clark's S* List

Why not have a public champion and a cc champion. Have a final game or series between the two. MIAA would make more money and everyone happy ( Mostly)
