60 Massachusetts kids on Hockey East rosters this year. 48 played HS or prep. 12 played midgets. Both paths work. It's up to the individual.

I wonder how many if you count all D1 teams and all New England kids. Kinda makes sense that we have a more competitive JR league around here!

So, he is ayingt that none of the 60 played Juniors?

If he isn't saying that, what's the point of posting the stat? Who cares where they played when they were 15?

Re: Not all paths to Division 1 have to go through USHL

I think this new Junior league will benefit many of the players who can stay local after High School and before College.

Yeah, about 60 in Hockey East are from Mass, but only about 9 of them came directly from either HS or Prep, the rest went thru Juniors

But they all played high school or AAA Midget at some point prior to jr's. I wonder what kind of numbers it would be if you added up all the D1 rosters and included all New England states. I wonder how many played in the FED??
