ISL Girls Hockey

How is Division 1 and 2 determined? I look at the various schedules and it seems that D1 plays a fair amount vs D2 (and vice versa)? Looking at the scores some of the games seem to be competitive some don't. I heard though the only way to get recruited is a D1 school. Scouts don't look at D2 schools. Is the drop off between D1 and D2 so high that they wouldn't? Just doing some research.
And yes, I am aware that academics do matter more and we won't chose a school purely on hockey but was nevertheless interested.

Re: ISL Girls Hockey

ISL only has one division for girls. I think you're thinking NEPSAC, which is all New England schools.

it says D2 champion is Rivers. SP wins D1.

and yes I am new to this. Sorry if this is a stupid question. If it is NEPSAC, how are Divisions determined? And is the drop off that big?
