O.k., O.k. so I'm sensing a little 'parental guilt' of having your little baby playing all the way out in Cedar Rapids or Dubuque while you are sitting home, helpless, staring at the computer and working your way through another liter of Tito's. I now get it.
Look, you and your kid went all in. D-I is like that; let go. But don't try to shame those who chose another path. And once your pride & joy makes it back to Hockey East you can turn off the AOL landline, put down the jug of Tito's and go out and watch the kid's games - well half of them - relax.
Generals are being brought into this? Why? First year program that really struggled but the facts are wrong. Zero players left for other leagues on their own. We had a ton of turnover because we constructed a poor roster. But all said and done we had 15 NCAA commitments which I don't think is too bad for a 4 win team. And we had a good draft this year. Good tenders and should be decent. Go check out a game and then say we suck. And all others leagues are good too. Each league has its own positives and like us their own negatives. NCDC will be a fine league with good players and good owners. EHL runs a great league, and on and on. I come on here to check out what is happening and not sure why we get brought up all the time because we came in and failed in the first year? No time to adjust to league? Talk to players and parents about how they were treated and how the experience was. Judge us on that in year one. This year? Judge us on wins and losses and still treating players, fans (yes we have a few) and the community with respect. If anyone has a real issue you can contact ownership they have their emails on their website and will always listen to people on how to improve both in and off ice.
Never said team shouldn't be judged. Said it was a tough year. And the Coach you are referring to stepped down mid season. He realized it wasn't working. What a terrible person for trying and failing!

Not pretty but don't lie to make your point. You have a point but no need to let facts get in the way.
Not saying we were good. We weren't. Just not as bad as evidently you wanted us to br
You are right and I am wrong. Going to bed but have a great night.
This same magazine just came up with another ranking with USPHL rates higher than EHL. Note: Both ranked much higher than CCHL
