Half of Generals team left ( Not Cut) midseason for the EHL and USPHL. Roster spots filled by midseason cuts, BA u18 kids and kids who were offered USPHL Elite ( not Premiere) spots.

NE Generals are a joke. I don't even consider them NAHL. They will surely fold. Tier 2 doesn't have a place in New England. Sad but true. Real Tier 2 players go to CCHL or NAHL.

Actually they NAHL and BCHL are the top choice and then maybe the AJHL. CCHL is good but it really is pay to play and the VAST Majority of the players end up in D3 or CIS. This is a fact

All way better than NCDC. CCHL is about $2k USD. About the same or less than NCDC's "Fees". NAHL is truly free except living. BCHL excellent as well. The only non true tier ii is NCDC.

Remind me, how many games has the NCDC played, all-time? How many of those did you watch that are serving as the basis for your opinion that it is "non true tier ii?"

Can you post a link to the NCDC fee schedule? I think the only one that has posted about the fees is....YOU!

But, even if they do become a reality, do you really think they will be higher than what your kid is paying for "living?" Billet fees are $300 a month. Personal expenses are, well, you tell us how much per month more your kid is paying than he would pay living at home?

How much are you paying to get him to Bismarck, or wherever, back and forth for the main camp, at the start of the season, at the end of the season? How much for him to come home mid-season, assuming he has at least SOME desire to see you and Mrs. Sux? (if there is still a Mrs. Sux)?

How much is that air fare to go see him play you mentioned costing? Hotel? Rental car? Meals? How many times are you making that trip in six months?

But, somehow, you dredge up your still-not-fact-based fee schedule over and over? That NCDC may decide to charge a kid a fee if he bails on the team rather than by mutual agreement means it's no longer "truly free?"

Generals are being brought into this? Why? First year program that really struggled but the facts are wrong. Zero players left for other leagues on their own. We had a ton of turnover because we constructed a poor roster. But all said and done we had 15 NCAA commitments which I don't think is too bad for a 4 win team. And we had a good draft this year. Good tenders and should be decent. Go check out a game and then say we suck. And all others leagues are good too. Each league has its own positives and like us their own negatives. NCDC will be a fine league with good players and good owners. EHL runs a great league, and on and on. I come on here to check out what is happening and not sure why we get brought up all the time because we came in and failed in the first year? No time to adjust to league? Talk to players and parents about how they were treated and how the experience was. Judge us on that in year one. This year? Judge us on wins and losses and still treating players, fans (yes we have a few) and the community with respect. If anyone has a real issue you can contact ownership they have their emails on their website and will always listen to people on how to improve both in and off ice.

The lack of fairness of judging the Generals on their first year alone - or the NCDC on zero games played - has been brought up many times. It isn't the kind of forum where rational thought is recognized and encouraged. So, the rational thinkers aren't the most vocal.

You didn't "fail" your inaugural year. It's a strong league, and whether you win 4 or 40 games, the players still developed by the sheer level of competition alone. You can't judge success on wins and losses. Anyone that does doesn't understand hockey.

Don't judge public opinion by what is written here. It is a minority opinion expressed by disgruntled fathers. My kid will be looking your way next year and the year after that, and we will be more than happy to talk with you.

Advice to owners would be get better hockey players and win more games or not lose by 10. You didn't fail, you failed miserably. The other teams hated coming to play you.

The most amazing thing is you won 4 games. I would have hated to be in the opposing locker room or on that bus.
The fact that coach was even in that position shows the thinking or lack there of in the organization. Matter of time before this little experiment ends or better yet join NCDC. That may be the answer.

To The Generals. Yes, you had a tough year but the vast majority want to see you (NAHL) and the NCDC both to succeed. Why shouldn't we? The more of the better Jr leagues in New England, will only makes the hockey better for all. Best of Luck.

Although I am one of the guy's who is all over NCDC Sux guy, I gotta agree with the goalie sentiment. I found it striking that the Generals guy mentions, " Good tenders this year". Really, you can make a fair assessment of last years goalies based off of what they had in front of them? I am sure your goalie from last years draft went elsewhere because he realized it was a no win proposition for him

Either/or in the case of the NE Generals. I would love to see the shots on goal stats. I am shocked more goalies didn't quit mid-game. I did actually pay to see a game. It was honestly laughable. I felt so bad for both teams.

NCDC fee is $400. Don't let facts get in the way of a good argument though. The Northeast Division NAHL teams draw about 300 fans a game also. Only 10 times less than you quoted.

You've already acknowledged that you judge a Junior program by wins and losses. That it's important what other teams think. Now you're claiming that a team that draws more fans - mostly a factor of how backwater a town it is they are located in - is an attribute of a successful team.

You clearly don't know jack about hockey. Because if your kid is playing NAHL for a second straight year, it means he has maxed out. He did't develop, probably because he wasn't good enough to get significant minutes. He's entering his third year of living away from home, and has really very little to show for it. You're probably hoping for that slim chance to be a 20 year old rookie in the USHL. Which rarely happens, and even more rarely ever leads to anything after that.

So he plays for Corpus Christi as they are the only team in the league that cracked 3000 fans a game. There wasn't a local kid on their roster last year at all. So you are once again full of you know what. I could care less how many people watch my kid play. Doesn't matter to me at all. I only care about him developing by getting quality minutes playing good hockey which he will get this year. I don't need to pound my chest letting everyone know he made the NAHL and has 3000 people watch him every game. You actually think it's great hockey simply because 3000 people a night in Texas have nothing else to do?

Not CC. His team averages 2500 or so but can hold 3000 and do quite often. Are you saying that the NAHL isn't as high quality as the USPHL or NCDC or whatever they are calling it?

There are 5 teams in league averaging over 2000 fans a game. Not one of them has a local kid on their roster. So yeah, you are just making all of this stuff up to pound your chest. Good luck to your kid. He's gonna need it.

Dude 3000 people went to see the New Hampshire High School hockey championships last year. Does that make it good hockey?

They were the best high school players in NH. NAHL are some of the best Junior players in the US. Thats why noone will go see the NCDC games or Championship. Is simply Sux.

Same league and same coaches as USPHL Premier. They changed the cost and name. Might have gotten worse by absorbing some EHL teams.

No it wasn't. EHL was ranked higher than USPHL in TJHN. Not that they were down on the USPHL, they said extremely positive things about every level of the league, and also said it's going to get stronger with tyhe EHL teams moving over, not weaker.

The most recent article dates 8/2/17 lists the top 20 Jr leagues. NCDC is 6, Ehl 7, CCHL 12th. Why are you all so bitter? Let's just wait and see
