AOF added at least 2 D-1 commits.
I hope AOF added a few "skaters". Based on their roster from last year they graduated about 14 players.

Re: Prep Schools

Better watch out for Gov's. Added a coach with zero high school experience and a resume that consists of leaving Top Gun in such great shape as Director. TG's elite record last year at all levels speaks to how he can attract young talent to an organization.

Re: Prep Schools

Exeter should be a contender.
Salisbury is always a favorite
Would love to see Andover recruit more to compete
Can’t count out KUA
Loomis takes the founders league

I heard the opposite, I heard they whiffed on several highly regarded recruits.

Leading scorer and arguably best player graduated. Who did they pick up?

Another top player left Lawrence Academy for USHL after 1 year. They reloaded with some local talent from MIAA.

Who left? I know NS left and came back but that was last year.

GF left for Chicago Steel in USHL. Was reported by Mark Divver earlier this summer.

Thanks. So if it isn't working out he could return. They seem to not have any academic standards when it comes to athletes. Again.

But, if he doesn't come back, that's their top 2 scorers. Not going to replace a third of your points using MIAA players. Not any more.

LA still has lots of talent left; most graduates were not their top players, and all their goalies are still there.
ISL Keller will be very competitive. Nobles will be better, and St. Sebs will be strong, even though they lost a few top players. Big questions will be Thayer and Milton, who lost a lot of talent. but have good coaching.

Rivers in ISL Eberhart will still be good, all their top dmen are still there, but lost their goalie.

Labor Day tournaments will have all top prep players on display. The River Rat Jamboree and EHF Select preseason showcase were both full of impressive teams.

The question posed was what programs are on the rise. You can't lose your top two scorers (by a pretty wide margin), not replace them with studs, and be better.

They've underachieved the last two years. Two years ago they went into the Elite 8 as the #1 seed and got bounced in the first round. Last year they were wildly inconsistent, won a couple of games in OT in the Small School bracket, and celebrated like they won the Cup.

This year? Given the fact the coach couldn't produce when they had more talent, having less talent doesn't mean they will be better. If, like you said, Nobles is better, Sebs is strong, someone has to slide. My money is on Lawrence.

Of course they don't have any academic standards, they are the Proctor Academy of MASS

Re: Prep Schools

I heard he added the TG Grill Lady as an assistant. Maybe her chicken fingers can help attract talent.

Re: Prep Schools

KUA..will be in mix

Good for hockey on the lakes region this year..
