Im looking to catch a few games and or tournaments with my son. Anything in the age range of 14-18. When my older son played years back he played with nhl players like Adam Ernie and against kids like jack echel , frank vatrano and Steve santini. It was amazing seeing those kids then. I’ve been out of the local hockey scene for a while so I’m wondering who are the current superstar, nhl prospect players in New England youth hockey? Any particular tournaments coming up that showcases Some of the elite players around?
Fun to take in any of the Tier1 tournaments Boston Advantage holds at Pilgrim and keep some of the rosters for a few years to see where all the kids end-up.
The split season during Sept/Oct/to mid-Nov is the best time to see the top prospects in one location. The Beast/HPHL showcase had lots of talent. Mass and NE Districts this past weekend were both at NESC this past weekend. Lots of committed players on the top teams. Other than some of the really strong full season teams like Selects, NJ Avs, etc., your best bet this time of year is the upcoming prep December tournaments.
02 and 03 years are deep with kids tracking for the NHL. We watched maybe 4 or 5 in Marlboro this weekend
Just look at the CCW rosters...
If you are really interested in seeing future NHL players this season you probably missed the boat. The U18 NDTP just made their rounds playing local colleges.
What are you smoking...were these NHL draft picks playing U16 or U15...I must have missed them
02's have 7
03's have 4
04's have 2
At this point
