I have experience with one full season team and they were a little over 8K and also needed a credit card on file for travel expenses , hotel food etc .
At least 20K all in
At least 20? Come on.
Don’t spend more than 6 if team doesn’t have dedicated locker room and extra ice outside of practice
first it was at least 20k now its well past 20k-Im sure you heard this from someone somewhere at some point-gotta be true
Usphl, all in about $10k
My son goes to a good private D3 college. Half the kids there are prep students. He was public. So explain to me the value of the prep education again if the kid is middle road academics?
So you wasted money for a prep school education to put your kid in a so called good private D3 school to chase a hockey dream that was done after high school. Not a wise decision if you ask me. I bet that private school is unheard of outside of the New England area. How much debt is the kid racking up for this D3 private school education?
Notice how I asked how much debt your kid is racking up. I asked that question because I bet you you are tapped out after spending all that money on Prep, which in the end, got him no further than the public school kid he is sitting by in class.
ok-but the OP asked for tuition costs-not dining expenses, rental cars and hotel bills which I'm sure can add up rather quickly if you take the whole family to showcases.
Yes. But Tuition is just a portion of the total out of pocket expenses to play FS 16/18.
Just go in with eyes and wallet wide open.
