So the people down in Falmouth see it but the MIAA doesn't? Publics are what they are, privates can select and recruit players from anywhere...but they all play for the same title?
Massachusetts HS Hockey: Buddy Ferreira Classic will have interesting twist this year

The Buddy Ferreira Classic, held each year at the Falmouth Ice Arena during February vacation week, will use an interesting format this year. Instead of pre-determined quarterfinal matchups, power seeding will be done to determine the first round games.
The matchups for the four quarterfinal games on Saturday, February 16th (1pm, 3pm, 5pm 7pm) will be decided a week before the Classic, with the seeds posted on February 10th. The four Catholic Schools (Austin Prep, Arlington Catholic, Archbishop Williams, BC High) will be power-seeded, as will the four Public School clubs (Falmouth, Duxbury, Hingham, Reading).
Here are the first round match-ups for Saturday, February 16.
1pm Catholic #1 vs Public #4
3pm Catholic #3 vs. Public #2
5pm Catholic #2 vs Public #3
7pm Catholic #4 vs Public #1
Second Round games will be played on Monday, February 18th. There will be two games on Wednesday, February 20th and two on Thursday, February 21st (championship game at 7pm)
Seeding will be determined by the RPI formula tracked by Boston Herald high school hockey writer Jim Clark, with input from the My Hockey Live staff.
