Seems every year teams go through a stretch when the flu bug hits the locker room. Practicing for hours, riding the bus together, pasta dinners together, long hours of a tough schedule....would it be out of line for the coach to \'suggest\' that everyone gets their flu shot? Maybe bring the RN into the locker room and dish them out? This has been a public service announcement; as you were.
Mom!!!!!! Get off the dboard. The dboard is for dad.
Nothing like a big game you waited all year for and having your best 4-5 players out. Vaccinate your kids!
Good coaches don't wait all year for a big game. Coaching hockey is a development journey, not a sprint for 1 game. What if the bottom 4-5 get the flu? Would likely help my team!
I sincerely doubt what you're talking about is the flu that flu shots help prevent (influenza). Most likely a cold that has flu-like symptoms. Flu shots won't prevent that.
