What has happened to this once proud program? Year after year they have always competed even during their rebuilding years. Having only won 1 game isn’t acceptable, especially with their current roster, who have pretty much played together since youth hockey. I’m sure like other public high schools, they have lost several key players to SJP, Fenwick, Pingree, and even juniors. But, at this stage of the season, one win is alarming, especially with them slated to play the NEC iron over the next two weeks, Saugus, Danvers, and Marblehead. They will be in for a long night tonight against a talented Saugus team. Dissapointing, especially with all the promise heading into this season.
Today's high school hockey you never know. Some lose more players than others but I think building a good defense and finding a good goalie goes a long way for a bad team.
