Don't listen to people like this guy. Every player is different. Every situation is different.

Make the choice that provides the best development path for your kid. If in doubt, use the quality of the coaching to help make your decision. Talk to players that played for the coach.

But, for anyone to say this league can't lead to that opportunity, well, it's a generalization that may be true in most cases, but not all cases. Be realistic about what your player is, and help him to create a path. If you can afford a NAHL camp, go. It's a good measuring stick (if you have the ability to be objective about your kid).
