The average age of an NCAA commit is 19. You can't get any scholarship money for sure until you can sign an NLI. He won't be your coach at either of those times.
Work to get better, and work to get yourself into the best development opportunity on the best team possible every year. The rest will take care of itself.
Thanks- so what coaches in MA develop 17-18 year olds? I mean, I see the records of all the teams but not many of players ever seem to go to good colleges. If I have sign a letter of intent in the next 2 years and I am burning this year with my current team that doesn't leave much time to figure this all out.
You could use this year to stand out and then apply to prep as a repeat Jr? If your good academically, a few years of prep could help get into a better college for both hockey and education.
