Ok, disclosure, my son is only in 8th grade, but my daughter is a Softball player entering 10th. For her, I did not use NCSA, I signed up the bare minimum on NCSA site to get the articles and such, but use her team's recruiting services to put together her video and recruitment package.
Just stop. Living. Through. Your kid!
Unless the Orr group or USNTDP reps are reaching out to you, you are wasting your money.
Kids playing on USPHL, ECEL or other crappy Bantam or Midget teams aren’t going anywhere special and certainly won’t see value from giving a fake drunk agent money. It’s a scam.
Morons.
NCSA can be used as a tool to get in a coaches ear and to find a college that fits your son/daughter. It can also help in reaching out to Jr Teams. My oldest played in the USPHL, we used NCSA and he is now playing D1 at a school we hadn't even considered. The coach found him in a search, my son sent an email and film, they invited him to a game and the rest is history. It was all done through NCSA.
