You guys on this board make me laugh. Totally clueless about the world of hockey today. Northeast generals most likely would have won the NA3 this year if playoffs finished. The Main Nordiques don’t even have a team anymore. My guess is Danbury will become stronger at NA3 level due to the fact they have NAHL team now. Eliminating the New England Knights and Skyland Kings will improve league. Also adding the New Jersey Titans will help the league as owners kids is playing on NA3 team so you better believe they will be strong. Danbury, Northeast and New Jersey will continue to dress an NA3 player every night as a 13th forward just so they can sell the 8k bill to parents the following season.
EHL or USPHL Premier is a better option if having to play tier 3 juniors.
The EHL games I've seen were much rougher than any prep games I've seen. Maybe I just haven't watched enough games I guess. Don't know about NA3 because I haven't seen any games in that league. Pointless argument anyway because a 15yo kid being offered a spot on an EHL roster is probably being sold a spot on an EHLP team.
Both are leagues with players destined to play D3. EHL has one D1 commit last year, a couple more the year before. I am not sure about the NA3. Im not putting down D3 hockey by any means, still some real good hockey and players at that level.
What if a player has a good start to his season and wants play higher level college hockey - should he look into getting (tendered) or wait a year and move on to another league? Is tendered a good process?
