Re: Varsity vs. Freshman

Anon
My son is a freshman at an ISL school. He practices with Varsity but plays games with Freshman. There is one other teammate in the same situation but choosing not to play Freshman and sit out games. I'm wondering now if by playing in Freshman games is my son now ineligible to be called up am I missing something else?
Lmao

Re: Varsity vs. Freshman

Are you missing something else? Yes joke is on you, if you don’t make varsity as a freshman in the ISL may as well quit hockey.

Re: Varsity vs. Freshman

if you're looking not trolling for an answer. the other freshman is probably not playing games due to virus so he can continue to practice with varsity and not taking the chance if Freshman team is shutdown.

Or, he doesn't want to risk getting hurt playing awful hockey that is going to make him look awful, too.

Re: Varsity vs. Freshman

The parents of the other freshman thought they got a spot in the varsity at the time of admission and committed to paying full tuition. They think being rostered on the freshman team is a breach of promise, and let their kid boycott to play as a protest.
