Re: NHL central scouting

Anon
What are we missing here? Is there a criteria needed to make central scouting list? We were expecting to see flashes of excellence in a game with multiple players from the list and they weren’t even the best players on the ice.. how does this happen?
C rated players are tough to scout. Many of the C players "show potential" as opposed to the A/B rated players who are "Proven" to be NHL talent. C players on the list are interchangeable with some not even on the radar yet. I wouldn't put much stock into the list until much later in the year, but Yes, there are players that will be dropped and new players added to list as the season goes on.

Re: NHL central scouting

Our oldest was on the list, taken off the list and then back on the list once he received his college commitment. He pla*** 2 years of Prep, was a very good skater, worked his butt off every shift, was physical and put up average points his senior year (20 in 30 games) went on to play 1 year of Jrs in BCHL and then D1 for 4 years. Now he works, like all of us. Enjoy watching your kid and stop comparing, its exhausting and uncalled for.
