Son will be U15. Should he play U15 tier 1 or U16 tier 2 to play with bigger kids

O15 Tier 1 - if he wants to be scouted by the USHL/NAHL. Not saying there will be scouts all over the place every game, depends on the program, but he should have opportunities at Tier 1 showcases to play in front of scouts. Go check out the last few USHL drafts. O15 players get drafted into the USHL.

U16 Tier 2 - doesn't get scouted much, if at all.

Find a good U15 team that will play U15 top teams and mid pack U16 tier 1 teams.
