Re: CATHOLIC MEMORIAL STARS FROM THE PAST ?

If Garland was so #$&+7 good, then why was he cut from a Division 2 B team in college at Merrimack? Who are you by the way? Did you hang out and ball suck the two of them in high school?

Re: CATHOLIC MEMORIAL STARS FROM THE PAST ?

Dwan played at Army in the 1980's.

Re: CATHOLIC MEMORIAL STARS FROM THE PAST ?

go to hockeydb.com Bobby Dwan is not even listed there, and Garland played at a D3 bottom feeder Westfield State

Never said they were NHL guys but they were good . Sorry if that bothers you Mr. Badass tough guy

I played against both of those kids, and neither ever tore apart the Catholic Conference. Dwan was All Catholic, NOT All Scholastic. Garland was an average player at best. Kid was cut from Merrimack's Sub Varsity team. What does that tell you?
They must have been pretty good to stand out in the CC during the 80's and people remember them, the real test, do they remember you?

Was at the New England Sports Center the other night watching my son's game. Met some guy named Bobby Dwan who says he attended Catholic Memorial in the mid 80's. Went on to say how he was an All Scholastic, Hockey Night in Boston All Star, and one of the most highly recruited players in the state his senior year. Guy was only like
5 foot 4 inches at best Looked him up on hockeydb and found nothing. Anyone ever hear of this guy? Maybe he was one of the many who "would have made it but they hurt their knee". I knew of a few Catholic Memorial players from that era like Chris Nilan, Paul Stanton, Ted Donato, but I had never heard of this guy before. He also said he was retired from the Boston Police.
Tale as old as time.

A Boston Hockey player talking about his high School past.

A Boston Cop stealing fake ovetime.

Re: CATHOLIC MEMORIAL STARS FROM THE PAST ?

This is a refreshing change from cowards bashing young kids anonymously.

He was a good one

Re: CATHOLIC MEMORIAL STARS FROM THE PAST ?

Mike Chighisola attended CM as well, and was a far better hockey player than Bobby Dwan. Sadly, Chighisola is now serving a life sentence in Prison.

Re: CATHOLIC MEMORIAL STARS FROM THE PAST ?

Was he the one with the "Coach Chig" blog years back? Or a relative?

Re: CATHOLIC MEMORIAL STARS FROM THE PAST ?

Coach Chig was his father

Re: CATHOLIC MEMORIAL STARS FROM THE PAST ?

Who cares, CM is now a football school.
