whalers moms/dads, lets not get overly excited about beating the eagles. as the kids grow, everything tightens up...so teams that were not competitive a few years ago start closing the gap. i can picture it now...all the dads tossing themselves around all weekend like antonio brown in dubai.
Def not U15’s- lots of green helmets running around making zero happen..
Tied with Flames today when I left Sports center.
15s beat Eagles yesterday
They are always gonna put together competitive teams at all age groups. Seems like right now they are just caught up in their top players at 18 leaving for ushl/bchl/ncdc and the younger teams just missing a stud here or there. They will win their share of games but will probably get squeezed out when they play top 10 teams..at just about every age group. Tough market to play and if they are not super aggressive they will get good kids not studs. Only so many studs not heading to the real academies or off to Prep far away.
Seems like Eagles own the ISL kids, rats own the prep kids willing to travel with no practices leaving the whalers with some good kids that are local.
