I don't have a kid on eagles or 95giants but Ive seen many a post here on how 95 giants suck and how great the eagles are. I've also seen many threads on how much better EHF is than E9. Y'all did this to yourselves.

Totally disagree. You best a team like the Eagles, you let everyone know, you remind them weekly. Screw the Eagles, their parents, their affiliates, all of them!

The real question is this: are the giants any good ? Considering they also beat the rats.

I do think the eagles are overrated as an organization. They have built a good re****tion but it seems to have led to people thinking that any team they has is great and this isn't the cause.

It was one game. Overall, the BJE are a better team. Their record shows that.

The Giants put together a good team and surprised a lot of teams this year.

So then bje aren't necessarily a better team since they lost to them. Doesn't mean they're a bad team. It's just very hard for people to say this particular giants team is better than this particular eagles team.

Your logic is off. One game doesn't define how good a team is.

Wake up, take a look at all the teams giants lost to during the season. It is a fluke. Upset happens in hockey, that’s the beauty of the sport. Giants played well that game and eagles didn’t. .

Saying "it's a fluke" makes you sound silly. The giants won when it mattered. They also beat the Rats so it wasn't "a fluke". At the end of the day, The Rats won, Giants finished better than the Eagles. Pretty cut and dry. That's why they have tournaments at the END of the season.

Best part of the 15 division this year was that any team that showed up to play could win, with the exception of a couple teams.

Agree. Lots of fun games to watch. Rats and Eagles were clearly the strongest, but there were very few blowouts among the top 10 or so Mass teams.

What difference does it make? The Eagles do the same thing! Take the loss and stop being a Snowflake. Eagles parents can't believe their Elite Eagles loss and loss when it counted! :joy: :money_mouth_face:

Let’s move on from this conversation as it was two days ago.

Giants are pretty good beating the #1 and #2 teams in the state also had a 5-5 tie against the #4 but not even close to the Eagles or River Rats. The team has 2 good goalies with a bunch of unknown kids who work hard and played for each other. If they can get rid of the cancers in the locker room who sat in the box every game for running mouth to ref or taking selfish penalties they will do well next year.

Other issue they will run into next year will be teams won’t come in thinking the game is a complete joke then realize in the third period they have to actually play the game.

They played a pretty good schedule for the most part and it was a good run for the team.

Onto HS season now and best of luck to River Rats at nationals

Great run for the team but it won't exist as is next season. Top players will use opportunity to jump to better teams for U16. Just the way it works.

Wrong the core group will be back again because they have been together for 3+ years in the BHL national/ American division.

Yes 1-2 of them will take off to another team but who cares I’m sure they won’t care because they were the issue with the team anyways.

2-0 against top 15 teams is not to shabby. Giants just lack consistency to be ranked higher. Probably just a few players away from being legit.

Your right just like their BA teams the rosters are fluid and always pulling from their other teams.

I didn't say that. TBH I dont know much about 95 Giants. The BA teams don't pull from other rosters at the younger levels. Not sure what they do in the older levels.

Your right my bender got knocked out in the first round, so looks like he has some time off like yours before HS. I question more the wins throughout the season. Conduct tryouts, pick a team and stick with it.

Credit is certainly due to the 95G's. They won a big game that was as real as it get's w 3 periods and long 17 mins each period. Battled through penalties and pulled it out.

But don't be a dumb dude. If they played the Eagles 10 times how many times would they beat them 1-0? I think that was the same score they beat the rats too.

Games are supposed to get tighter as they get older. The skill level starts to even out for kids regardless of where htey played at 10 years old. They stick with it, work hard, they are supposed to be able to keep it close and squeak out a win against a more skilled and deeper team every now and then. Those deeper and more skilled teams are not supposed to cough it up in a one and done situation but there is a reason they don't give out those stupid $2 blue hats before the tournament starts to the #1 seed....they wait til after all the games are played to crown a champ.

Good season by those kids they should be proud. They keep working hard, add a player that make a difference or two and off they go.

And don't forget they ran 2 lines and 3 d most of the game.....that has a big impact on their ability to win the next game the next day and the day after that....they just were not deep enough to get to the finals. Too bad the rats were dying to play them again.
