He runs that program like a D1 program, treats the kids correctly, has top facilities, this team will be just fine. Lets see where they are in February. Also, remember, this is the first of "his" players, he absorbed a very good team last season, but this team is his baby. Wish nothing but the best for all of them!
must be a boring night on the cape
NEHJ said they had way more depth for scoring compared to last year. This year, 2 games, 5 goals total from 2 players on the first line. Wicked deep lineup! Wicked!
Stop the jealousy. Cushing is one of the best. And it’s all because of Steve Jacobs, from Hudson Ma. The same Hudson Ma that won the 78 d 1 state championships
Not much at CA
They lost so many good players last season. Nowhere near as deep, physical, or fast as last years group. Hope they can rattle off some Wins soon. 3 D1 commitments need to step up and prove it now, offensively and defensively.
I think the program got consumed with the PR stunts, the interviews, the full page write ups, etc..and now that they are not producing Wins and fighting for ties against some subpar teams, they deserve a little criticism. The kids will learn and get better, but maybe the adults should just go about their business and teach/coach instead of the interviews and articles like all the other top teams do.
Here is what happened. Two years of covid and lying to players and they lost a lot of interest from Canadian kids wanting to do a 1 year pg. Salisbury and Cushing have not been as dominant IMO. You add a line or even 1 or 2 Jr. hockey players in there and all of a sudden, powerhouse. When they were pgs, and able to play, they never had the misfortune of learning just how full of crap these schools are. I am sure on both sides people are saying, its better off this way.
Varsity is always solid. varsity B can skate with many varsity prep programs.. and they also have a jv team. Nothing average about that.
Varsity B? We talkin bout Varsity B? Cmon man
Don’t mind us, just carrying some hardware home
