SJP 7th grade team plays Pikes 6-9th grade team and always smokes them. AP Freshman beating them is nothing to brag about

Sorry guys, I thought people knew that APs freshman team is 6-8th graders, JV is 8th & 9th graders and varsity is last years JV team. The “pipeline” has just shifted from McAdams/Pap’s warriors to RG/Mclean’s Islanders …. It’s the same grift, just different perpetrators.

And now playing better teams so that does not bode well for the pipeline.

Funny “The pipeline” was also the name of my middle school band. (Back when AP was just boys)

I've worried about this for a while since the announcement came out -- they don't have the horses for the race and moving to the hockey academy model is going to cause a ****-storm in the school, it already didn't go over well that's why they didn't implement it....

Anyone left who is worth a dam will be hitting the door this year. They probably wish they left last year when the team had a pretty good showing in the MIAA probably would have given them more options. My guess is they will be worse next year and then the future will tell us where they go.

Makes you wonder they they are going to be able to recruit if they can’t keep the kids they already have.

They have lost the last 7 games with their goalie getting tossed for fighting in the Kent hill game. But at least they have Thayer on the schedule that should go well.

True but the back up goalie filled in admirable and his flow was breathtaking. Just saying

Nobody coming in everyone is leaving. They have lost the last 11 games in a row would you spend 30k for a school with no rink and bad hockey

You mean the same rink that's owned by "Gallant Memorial Arena, LLC" (i.e. Richard Gallant), who also owns the "Islanders Hockey Club, Inc."? Hmmmm...so much for that academy model that Patrick Driscoll at AP says isn't happening...Doesn't take too much to connect the dots. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck....

Shocker kids won without the freak behind the bench. Give them all the credit, PD does nothing but hire the bus driver. Coaches care only about how much money they can make off you. JM will not talk to the team or your bender. Stay away from these guys. Shame on AP for hiring them. #don'ttrustanythingtheysay

What’s the background on why JM left MC? Apparently PD was the athletic director at MC when JM left. Now that PD is at AP he hires JM? What caused him to leave?
