Elite is for first time junior hockey players 16 to 19 looking to develop their skills. IF their skills develop to the point they get noticed then they will eventually move up to premier. Premier players get the looks from college coaches at the show cases. If placed on elite after tryouts, player needs to know they are committed to at least 2 years of juniors.. College hockey depends on development in juniors.

16, 17 and 18? Yes. 19, turning 20 this year? Too old. Kids and parents hanging on. You have to be at least playing Premier by that age.
