Re: JW asked to leave BU

He is out...his name is only on the roster in the event of an emergency last minute change in plans but there is no room for him with the incoming freshman class and his only choices are transfer or go back to the USHL and get better. He is not the first person asked to do this from BU and won’t be the last.

Re: JW asked to leave BU

His daddy is still running the show I heard. College coaches don't like meddling parents that played JV hockey at Woburn high telling them how to coach. Kid is headed to the Midwest to play with his buddy. Another deal Daddy set up.

Re: JW asked to leave BU

I posted here a few years ago that I just didn't see it. In high school playing against a public high school and the public defensemen handled him with no problem. Posted it and got crap. . . guess it wasn't too off.

Hopefully they will make a documentary on him on how parents can mess up a kids future.

Re: JW asked to leave BU

Dont know anything about them but what has dad done to mess it all up? As a parent its hard not to offer advice/guidance for your child. I know I only have best intentions for my kids and you yours, so what has this dad done? Is it only dad or mom too?

Going to Lincoln Stars.

Re: JW asked to leave BU

Why Lincoln Stars?

Re: JW asked to leave BU

He is on the roster for Chicago Steel. He doesn’t have a number assigned yet so that means he still has to make the team out of camp. He hasn’t played me ch hockey in two years so they could cut him.

No it doesn't. It means they haven't assigned him a number yet. It's August 8th.

Enough with the manufactured melodrama.

Everyone has to make the team. That's how it is in sports.

Stick to what you know.

Why Lincoln Stars?
Is that a trade from the Steel or how does that work in USHL?

Rumor has it he was not asked back this season. Is it true??
Take you head out of your a__ and look at their 2019-20 Roster. Sorry your kid sucks
That doesn't mean they have, or haven't asked him back.

Doubtful anyone here knows the answer.
According to the BU coach himself, Wise is expected back

Re: JW asked to leave BU

JW illustrates the danger of recruiting kids at 15 that have already reached their full adult size and physical maturity.

Same thing the other way, too. At least JW was drafted. TJW had a hard time getting on the ice his first two years in the U, in large part because he's undersized. Had a strong year last year, strong enough to switch from BC to Northeastern. Big year for him coming up.

I think the switch away from BC by TJW was, at the very least, mutual.

Driven, mostly, by Dad's enormous ego.

Still they have accomplished more than your kid will.

Funny, I didn't realize dads accomplish anything. Silly me.

BC blows anyways. Good for TJW.
