The NAHL is both \\\"over related\\\" and over rated. Way to many teams. Its going the way of the OJ. However, I don\\\'t think the NCDC is underrated. In fact the league really seems to be down this year compared to the first 2 years.

Agree. They\'re mismanaging the NCDC. Teams are signing way too many players, bringing too many into camp, making promises they can\'t keep. Then they try to get some of the kids they cut to play for their Premier teams. Model doesn\'t work. Started out strong, last year the downward trend was starting to become apparent, this year, I haven\'t heard much yet, but what I have heard seems to still be trending down.

Also agree there are too many teams in the NA. They\'re trying to regionalize it to cut down on travel, but it\'s watering down the quality.

The NCDC will charge a player registration fee. The fee will be somewhere in the vicinity of $500 for the season.

The NAHL does not charge a player registration fee, but you are required to register with USA Hockey.

Wow. $500. To play high end hockey for six months.

Not sure why anyone signs up. I mean, that's a lot of dough!

Obviously, the UShow is the way to go. If you can't make it there, NAHL is light years ahead of NCDC. Generals can demolish any NCDC team. They are Tier II. The NCDC is Tier III. It's as simple as that.

That's your opinion. I know players pretty well in both leagues. They're pretty interchangeable. The NA is too large. There are good teams that you're probably correct about. There are bad teams too. The Generals aren't exactly world beaters.

You obviously have not seen the Gens this year. Trending the wrong way. Mid-pack ncdc at best.

All they have is "depth." 5 goalies, 10 D, 17 F. That means a dozen players aren't dressing on Game Day.

And, at least five BA kids. Shouldn't that mean they're automatically better?

Yeah definitely. He's in the USHL now thanks. NCDC was a waste of a year with an atrocious coach who was a total a$$hole that did nothing for him.

Didn't the Knights have to combine with the Canton Cubs just to have enough players?

And the Gens aren't new. So, how many of the kids have moved to the NA? How many have commitments?

Lovell double and triple rosters kids. Knights is made up of BA, Giants and Gens kids.
