I doubt those leagues even start on time since the Canadian government has provided ZERO plans for returning to play. Which begs the question, should U.S. based teams reciprocate and restrict Canadian players? We don't need them coming down here and flooding our Junior leagues again this year because their government can't get their crap together.
As for US players going to Canada I wouldn't recommend that be your plan. I wouldn't trust the Canadian government to open things up for at least another year or more. When those Canadian bound players figure that out they'll be looking for spots on NAHL and NCDC rosters, welcomed with open arms, and then the trickle down reshuffling begins. Should be another fun year, though not as bad as last year, hopefully.
closed until January? Where do you see that?
Interesting, that's not what my son is being told by the BCHL teams he's been speaking with. I guess everyone has a different take on it.
They are only at 50% vaccination, Prime Minister wants them at 75% before reopening. He has a track record of being overly cautious. We will see what happens on the 23rd. Fingers crossed!
Open for business first week of August! Thank God!
Didn't Biden shut it down again?
