I get it. Lots of people put much of their self value into social media and likes/follows these days.
This is interesting. A few fun facts about Social Media:
Facebook has 2..8 Billion users
Youtube has 2.29 Billion users
Whatsapp 1.6 Billion users
Instagram 2 Billion users

And your like, \\\"you guys are losers for posting a sports picture\\\" Keep shaking your fist and screaming at the sky homie.

Just because someone has an account doesn\'t mean they use it

Just because someone has followers doesn\'t mean people like them.

Again, you clearly place a lot of value on the likes you get for your selfies and kid pics. It\'s actually comical.
Wait are you and your kids Ugly? Social Media has filters to help you with that. For real, we can get rid of all your chins or add some color to your paleness..whatever you need, we can do it.
My kids could be models.

When it comes to kids athletics I say post it all! I love seeing how kids have grown over the years and stuck with a sport, especially if you know the journey they took to get to where they are. I think the \"haters\" are just filled with jealousy and rage with their own lives that they get uncomfortable and come to an outlet like this to bash someone, but they will also smile at your or worst, your kids, face. I do agree though, you know some of the dirtbag parents your \"friends\" with on Facebook or Instagram and would expect nothing less. #****em
You're actually the one who sounds angry here.

You really enjoy looking at pics of someone else's kid to see how they've grown and excelled at a sport? Really? Who has time to go back and look at someone else's kid on social to see how they've grown? Whatever.

Social media is basically a po****rity contest. I admit I am somewhat of an introvert. I was never someone who had tons of friends and had even less once I had kids. Social media is odd in that you can be an introvert and still get a lot of friends/follows if you post interesting content. I see some people who post anything and get hundreds of likes. Others will post a cute picture and get like, 20, 30. The people getting the hundreds of likes and are well liked are usually the people who were po****r in high school and college. Of course the people who are good looking tend to get more likes as well. These are just facts. None of this means these people have a kid who is good at sports or ever will be.

Dude, you dont go back and look at old pictures to see how a kid has grown..geez..Typically, you friend people you know on social media, so when you see your friends kids, that you have known over the years, you can appreciate their acheivments.
You dont just friend some random person and go through all their pictures. The Fuc* wrong with you.

I can't stand most of the people i'm 'friends' with on facebook. Most of them I became friends with on there in like 2008.

Re: Social Media

OP here. So it looks like some are all in for posting sporting achievements and some against posting anything at all, ever, on social media. It bogles my mind that the people who are so against it are also the ones who go on Social Media. I think the Unfollow option would be best for you, its not Unfriending them, it just keeps you from having to see their posts no matter how cool their kids are.

Re: Social Media

No, no one is saying don't post anything ever. I'm just saying you get to know people on social media throughout the years. You know who the braggers are...it isnt people who just put up pics of a kid in a uniform or getting a goal...there's also lines added in of oh johnny got 3 goals in his game today, I'm so proud of this kid. People do that every week...after a while you wonder why they need everyone else on social to know.

There's also the people who constantly put things up about politics. I have deleted/unfriended people over that, particularly when it was something controversial to me.

People act very foolish on social media. I've had people I actually liked in person but hated on social media if that makes sense. They just seemed like two different people.
