Nobody is blowing up but this is the year with a get rid of them tiny kids
A lot of mommies and daddies dreams get crushed next year at this level when they realize their little Gretzky not only won't play college but may not play high school
Breakers also making changes- u14 teams being put together now in both EHF and E9 both leagues will look alot different next year at the 03 level.
I agree the smaller player will have a hard time at this level next year but the bigger kids who get mad when they are touched will also struggle and take penalties.
Coaches start focusing on special teams now, next year 80% of the game will be PP or PK.
Every year parents get all worked-up over the introduction of checking and at the end of the day it isn't a big deal. Especially now when the refs call everything it tapers off once the kids have to sit in the penalty box. A hit too high, too low, too hard, open ice, boarding, roughing, from the side...gets a whistle now. Yeah you have to skate with your head-up but our little babies have now had an extra two years to learn to handle the puck without starring it down so they'll be O.K.
From what I hear:
Eagles dropping some picking up VJW players
Kings loose 3 to Flames
Breakers loose some to Terriers
Caps hoping to grab a few, not offering contracts to all current players
Bandits, well, they are the Bandits

I'd have to agree. This team is one of the few happy, functional teams on the planet. Great coach, been together as a group for a long time. The only issue is the competition in the E9 is a bit weak for that group.
Top Gun losing Big D to U14
Caps losing at least 5
Breakers and Terriers losing best players to Eagles
Islanders will be only team to compete with Eagles
Kings losing players
Flames taking a few Caps
Falcoms losing some to Flames and CT hockey
Bandits are the bandits
With all this turnover, other than the Eagles and Islanders, rest of the league should be competitive?
