Ok...lets hear predictions. Eagles and Caps had good weekend. Terriers could be sleeper. Islanders go in mixed.
Eagles, Eagles, and more eagles!
Eagles had good weekend. IHC dominated caps I heard. Caps gave them tough time all year so that should be a good game. Terriers could knock of Eagles if they stay out of box.
Eagles - Will win. Have proven they can win against top teams
Caps - Bad year, but they are well coached and will give IHC all they can handle.
IHC- Although they came in 2nd, they have a hard time beating better coached teams. No premier player like Eagles have. Makes a difference.
Terriers - Again well coached, but do need to stay out of box and must stop Eagles premier player. Keep him in check and you have a chance...
All in all it should be interesting and telling! Enjoy.
Terriers will bump Eagles out. Terriors shut down WS eagles done. Caps solid coaching better core players. they will bump out IHC. Caps terriers final winner will be a battle.
Caps Islanders best goalies
That's funny. Islander goalie yes.
Eagles versus Terriers will be all about how physical the refs allow the Terriers to get on WS. Its so funny to see the kids that skate around with their head down go away with a little bumping. Wait for the years to come.
Terriers won't even be close to Eagles. Only team that can give Eagles a game is IHC. If they get by Caps then look for a good final. Otherwise all Eagles.
Just looked up regular season. Last poster is correct. Eagles tied IHC 3x out of 4 games. Finals will be Eagles v IHC. 1 vs 2. I take IHC in OT
Sure you just looked it up. Sounds like you are on IHC. How did you guys do in NJ? Pretty sure Eagles won convincingly. Again - how did you guys do?
IHC - Most over rated team in league. Why don't you try and beat Caps first.
Pretty sure they smoked the Caps on Saturday. And no I am not on IHC. Just read previous post.
you guys are funny
"all you have to do is shut down the Eagles premier player and you have a chance"... NOOOO really? That is the same for every team! I will call him the "premier" player, you all know who he is and I will not put initials of a 10 year old on here.
Also the Eagles have a pretty **** good supporting case including the "premier" kids line mate who didn't play on Sat and probably should not have played on Sunday.
Eagles 2nd line is better than most teams 1st line and when the "Premier" player shows up (since he is 10 yes he is not at his best each and every week) no other teams can sniff them
If the "premier" player has a "premier" weekend, Eagles smoke both teams
If the "premier" player has an OK weekend, Eagles win
If the "premier" player plays like he did last weekend, Eagles make finals and anything can happen..
All you people are nuts! Best team, premier player, etc. It is 10 year old hockey for goodness sakes. All the teams are competitive. Let the kids have fun, compete and after next weekend tell little Johnnie great season and move onto baseball and lacrosse.
What's the IHC record against Caps and Eagles over the past two years? Maybe 3 Wins 10 Losses....Don't book the hotel room for the night just yet. Only chance of upset comes from Terriers as they clearly have the top coach in the EHF. Jimmy the Greek says Eagles roll, as they are the class of the league.
Get off his tip would you. Your a grown man. You are like a school girl running into J Bieber.
Eagles will win but they are certainly not the"class" of the league. Their on ice and off ice antics are a joke. Classless is more like it.
"language on the ice"? really? What is this church?
Do you really feel it's appropriate for a 10 year old to use foul language?
Why do you feel compelled to keep going on with this? They're getting pulled because you just keep singling out the kid. Move on maybe?
But you did keep posting the kid's #. Why not post your kid's number then?
People in glass houses should not walk around nude unless they are hot!
Goalies will be deciding factor this weekend. Good Luck to all!
this thread has been suspiciously silent since the playoffs were completed..
hmmmmm I wonder who won???
Everybody knows who won - the "premier player". What is there to talk about?
You would think with such a great player that team would win big but they don't
3 to 1 in a championship game is pretty good. Face it! Islanders have no premier player other than goalie which hides a lot. Take him away and they fall to middle of the pack.
Not an Islander but in the know. Islanders upgraded with the addition of several very good players.
Agreed, but the problem with that team is that both daddy's play there kids at center. See if that changes. I know 2 kids they got should definitely each play center. It's a train wreck in the making.
the most toxic situation in youth hockey is the daddy head coach!
Terriers, IHC, Caps have had ups and downs this year. No premier players on those teams???? Difference is on those teams coaches believe in developing all the kids and not playing around a "premier"kid. Good luck Terriers, IHC, Caps.
Please don't misunderstand me. The "premiere" players is impressive. To answer your question the Eagles have the least amount of turnover which means they develop.
Lol....Eagles won 05 last year and still cut 4 kids. Develop?
Least amount of turnover? Eagles took 4 kids from the E9 last year...This year the Islanders are doing it. C'mon now....
I guess I am missing something. I don't understand the "Recruting" jab. Every EHF team and E9 team at every age levels try's to get better players for the next season. Seems like the only ones who throw out the "you should develops kids" are those who are being replaced. Kids are developing...just not your kid. That is why he is being replaced.
What don't you understand? You've replaced 7 out of 15 kids in the last 2 years. How is that developing?
Fine with your strategy. Just don't call it developing kids.
Ok I'm confused. Who is "you've"
It's a conjunction of the word "you" and "have" ...hope that helps.
Best thing the EHF could do is go to a 2 year contract system. Would make coaches due a lot more due diligence about a player and be better for development. Would be better for kids.
Ehf plays musical chairs with players with the hopes of building the "super team". Some players develop on their own some not as much, but ehf teams are always looking to bs and steal players from other teams, ehf does not develop players, never did, never will. A middle of the depth chart ehf elite team will never last.
