What if this program resembles AI or BA more than LK? And, really there is nothing wrong with LK. There are some good coaches slated for next season at 95. We'll see where it goes.

TL and JL have been developing quality players for years into the college and junior ranks. What makes you think things will change now? They won't.

I guess the old man coming out of retirement to coach the 08s. The guy is a coaching legend and they will be a force to be reckoned with possibly the new world beaters to surpass the flames.

How does 07s and 08s look

The 07's look like they will compete very well. Come to tryouts on Saturday at 11:20 and see for yourself.

They are working really hard to put some competitive teams together. There will be growing pains like any successful program at the beginning. But, when this organization is established, why won't they be as good as any other E9 or BHL American team? and, they'll have a skating facility that will be new and very accommodating. Go Giants!

Drove by new rink today and spoke to one of the construction foremen. He said first sheet will be ready mid-Feb 2017.

The 95 Giants will be fine....relax. All organizations have some teams that do some post tryout recruiting, if you will.

It will be interesting to see how these teams do. At the 03 level new teams didn't have a lot of success, in the EHF anyway.

It's awesome that this organization is getting noticed. The owners seem to have organized things very well from the beginning and are putting in the right coaches and skill instructors. We'll see how the teams fare, but, don't be surprised if this program becomes a choice place to play in the near future. Kudos to the parents and players that took the leap!

What are Giants doing about ice now that high school is starting up at Raynham?

Not going be solved anytime soon. Games cancelled. And no ice in Attleboro anytime soon. Even now ice in Raynham/Hingham is scarce for Giants teams to squeeze into possible odd slots. Too many teams, not enough ice for weekend games.

Again, this is a disaster if the rinks are not open by thanksgiving once High School Starts and rinks start losing Ice to College and High School programs

Plus the issue with the multiple high school teams that contracted ice for this season in Attleboro will have to take additional ice elsewhere.

So how do we fix the problem. No kid should be without ice?

Took a swing by. This place is amazing. They did it right.

I saw a General's' post on Twitter with photos of the rink and the bleacher section doesn't look all that huge. How many sheets with seating do they have? Was I looking at the little rink?

the main rink has 750 and rink 2 has only 250.

Once things settle my kid wants to leave foxboro and sign up for this program. Best skills, best coaches, best facility, the list goes on and on. All I can say is wow! This program has it all.

I gotta say, I don't blame him. All his buddies are talking about it and everything the program is doing is top notch, they are not cutting corners anywhere.

Played our first game over at the new rink this past weekend and that place is fabulous. The ice is outstanding. Kids loved it!

Are there walk on skills at that place? If is so what are the days and times?

They are coming because of a new building, 2 miles away are the saints a legit E9 team. Im confused why these kids are coming.

Yeah that 05 Saints team has lost there best players to SSK and Caps over the past 3 seasons and the kids were from all over RI. Listen Saints dad you brought up the Saints in the post. I just chose that team as an example so stop being defensive. Just stating facts. The 05 Caps team is good, but needs to score more and way too many ties. They would destroy the 05 Saints. 5-15 in E9 is not good friend.

Saints aren't in the discussion of people going there. They're a stepping stone for players trying to make EHF.

Driving from South County/Kent County to Burriville for games isn't a big difference from Foxboro, and 146 is a heck of a lot closer than Burriville or St. George's.

So don't worry Saints Dad, no one will leave, or come to you. You're the frustrated one friend. We get it...
