Re: Tryouts

The Octagon

I love the question posed by the OP. So EHF Elite, probably not many openings so it's a fund raiser as it is every year or as I say, why don't they just charge me an extra $100 each year. Tier 1 & EMHL almost always openings come tryouts, although with the number of open skates already conducted by teams, maybe that will be different this year. I don't think you'll read the vitriol for a few more days though, too soon. It's still really early so I say by Thursday you'll start reading the rants as night two wraps up and parents start to freak lil Johnny didn't make Elite and the org only offered him an EMHL contract. I'm betting based upon some of the older threads, you might see some parent v parent threads this year.

Wish we could put the retarded parents into the octagon...the only thing better than the dboard! By the way, sorry you kid (terrible player) got cut!

You are the the very reason hockey parents have a bad rap. Your ignorance is so apparent in how you chose to respond. I'm sure your kid hears this all the time and will soon follow in your steps. Here's a news flash. Your kid is not a star, he probably rides the 3rd line and you show your lack of intelligence by using the word retarded and calling kids terrible players when your really have no idea who you are responding to. Crawl back under your low class rock and and continue to think your kid is so great and everyone else's can't compete.

Mom! Stop posting! I'm fine without playing hockey and have been for 10 years! Get used to the fact that I chose soccer! Seriously. I'm ok w my decision. I'm going to go cry now......

Re: Tryouts

Is there any questions that my kid is going to be your kid's boss someday?

Not with genes like that.

Re: Tryouts

Tryouts are over for many of the programs and not nearly the vitriol of past years. Have we parents suddenly become more sane, did the coaches actually give families a heads up and did the parents stop going behind coaches backs? I'm not complaining but it seems strange that it's so quiet this year.

Re: Tryouts

Maybe mom and dad accepted that their 8 year old who is now 10/11 was not as good as they thought as kids progressed... or most likely, not god at all.

Re: Tryouts

What happened to teams posting the tryout results on their websites?

Re: Tryouts

Leaves it open to add those who didn't attend....
