You will not know your game schedule for the season until last week in Septemeber.
I would assume that most everyone here is anticipating playing hockey Saturday and Sunday during the season ? Can't imagine anyone being suprised by a schedule in September !
wait, why do the e9 parents all bash the ehf for having their parity so early. Really, how many practices have you gotten in as a team to have a parity in August.
They will at least have more chance to get practices in with new players before the tournament than EHF does when they have their tournament a week after tryouts. And the E9 tournament isn't really a tournament. It takes place over the course of September. The EHF "parity" tournament is just a way for the founding member organizations to sell more ice time.
The EHF parity sets the season schedule black vs white. Huge importance.
Bottom of that White may as well be Town Cs.
Not a fan of the EHF way getting it in the week after tryouts. No time to gel at all with new players/lines. Given the impact of the competition level you'll play for the next calendar season there should be a month to practice and get a better grip on your team makeup.
Parity doesn't matter for either league. Those kids (BHL and Tier white/black) are the dregs of the leagues, so who cares. Elite is where its at! Be great to see a season ending tournament between the top 4 teams each from Elite EHF vs. Elite E9. 8 teams, round robin style over a 3 game set, then playoffs between the 4 teams with the best records with and a final between the best two teams.
