does 0-2 sound better than 1-5-1 to you or did you forget the preseason tournament where you went 1-3-1???
Nailed it! Gonna be a tough one for JC.
You're pretty excited there aren't you? Your kid get sent down to the Tier 1 team?
im sure his kid did get sent down or got Cut. You dont get that excited about a bunch of 9 year olds losing 5 games in a one week span unless your a total loser.
Its usually not the kids that others are hoping lose games, it is more about the parents. There is something enjoyable about watching parents that are 'better than' have to experience 5 loses in a week. Not going to be too many smiling faces this season!
Off to rocky start? They have been able to compete with these teams in the past....
Who worries about the start of the season with 9 year olds, especially after one weekend. Get a life
Why are you on here and reading this post? The program has lost its Chutzpah!!!
Got to agree with get a life. It was the first weekend of games and you can't predict a program by any level that still needs help to tie their skates. Relax
Youre right, after the 2 convincing wins this weekend everyone will feel much better....
At what point do you concede that Jr Dogs are place to be South of Boston.
KINGDOM HAS FALLEN!

7th place after week 4 ugh. Size and speed catch up to you pretty fast.... Guess your finding out the hard way. Don't worry your on the same path as most of the SSK teams. It's contagious over there. Hey at least the have a good snack bar!

Right, because with 90% of the season left, I'm sure these standings are indicative of where they will be at the end of the season. Why bother even playing now right. Because it's only about where they place right? If I was a betting man, I would say your that Dad concerned about record and your kid playing with kids above his ability because that is what will make him better right? Never mind he's riding the pine on the 3rd line. Better have that camera ready, pretty soon he may just get to touch the puck

It's more about making sure kids are playing at the right level. If teams are getting blown out every game then it's probably time for a new approach as repeated blowouts are not good for a team / player morale. The Kings program has definitely suffered in that respect at multiple levels. Parents often become defensive due to the badge wearing and the "my kids select" mentality when the correct thought should be "is my child playing at the right level" or "are the repeated blowouts mentally healthy"? After all it's 9 year old hockey, it's about having fun, fostering life long relationships, growing and maturing as an individual. Ask yourself.... Are you here for yourself or your child and be honest.
