Good guess but it was one of the kids not the parents..... was not there but heard TG kid took baseball swing at head of other player, thrown out of game and gives the fans the finger on the way off the ice and then drops fbomb at a father..... same kid thrown out of super series for same type of stuff...sounds like good parenting, good coaching and good organization... kid should never play in the league again.
I was there and saw it. TG getting a beat down 6 or 7 to 0 in the third. Less than a minute to go and this kid goes after one of the IHC players. Two handed baseball swing at his head from the side. Kid gets tossed. As he's leaving the ice and the IHC parents are reacting, the kid flips off them off, removes glove, and flips them off again.
Ref's ran the clock and the game ended.
I don't know about anything that happened at the super series but if this is the kids second time doing this why wouldn't Top Gun kick him off the team?
I can't believe the parents would let a kid act like that - the parents or the coach. Are they that desperate for players that they allow this to happen?

Ever see how some parents act at the rink? Kid probably got it from dear old mom and dad!
That is going to be nothing after you see the destruction the 05 NEB crew brings to that 05elite team. Get the popcorn ready. The show will start shortly.

We get it. They left and now your team is AWFUL. It hurts. Get over it. But the bright side is that your plug kid gets the minutes you thought they deserved last year. How's that working out?? Call the town team , your kid can't hang in tier 1.

if this is true, the ref should penalize him for intent to injure [sic], which starts an USA hockey inquiry. he is suspended pending the completion of the inquiry. if found 'guilty' he would be expelled from ALL USA hockey teams/games.
in general these cases are taken very seriously. but the ref needs to penalize him properly.

The player was not penalized for intent to injure. He was penalized for roughing and given a game misconduct. I don't think that there will be any USA Hockey inquiry; the IHC director was there and was speaking with the HC from IHC but I don't think either was going to pursue it any further.
I don't know about the other incidents with the kid but I did see the IHC incident and he should get more than a game misconduct.
I know if my kid did something similar and flipped off the parents as he went off the ice, he wouldn't see the ice or the outside of his room for a long time.
We need a complete video review and slow motion breakdown of the infraction to properly gauge the severity of said infraction and ascertain if there was indeed an intent to injure.
Points of emphasis -
Hand position on the stick i.e. baseball bat hand grip or sickle hand grip?
Swinging motion of the stick i.e. axe chopping motion or bat swinging motion?
EHF should appoint a blue ribbon committee lead by a Brendan Shanahan to investigate.

TG having a tough go against IHC this weekend. They got caught cheating at the 2008E level. Games ended in tie 2-2 but were found to be using a 2007 goalie after the fact. Game was reversed and TG forfeited 1-0. HAHa- cheating at the 7/8 year old level.
What do you mean got caught. The 08 goalie was late and the 07 goalie filled in until he got there. Maybe they should have just forfeited so no one got to skate. Or better yet turn the net down. F'n morons.
Better to play than not. Everyone needs to chill out about who is doing what or what kids look good. Our kids are 8 years old....just let them play and have fun. Hopefully at the end of the year all of the kids will develop into better players.

Doesn't matter what age. Did the coach explain the situation to the other coach and refs before the game? Was it agreed it would be a forfeit, or that it would count? Did the other team have a second age-appropriate goalie?
If the coach tried to "sneak" the kid into the game, then the forfeit is justified. Live with the consequence, and put a second goalie on the team.

Or it was discussed and it was ok. Then you don't get the result that you hoped so you complain.
