Do you think tier 1 and E9 are about the same in terms of competition? Bottom e9 vs say higher end tier 1?

At 04 level, all E9 teams would beat EHF Tier 1.

I know a few Town Teams that can beat a few Tier 1 teams, and I know a bunch of Tier 1 kids who cant make thier town A team.

Says every Town coach/parent! I have Low end White Division maybe, Emhl probably some. Tier 1 Black, NEVER. My kid's team last year did not make the playoffs but they crushed every lower league team that they played by a min of 5 goals.

Be happy that you are saving $1500.00 a year (Which you ultimately blow on a low end Lake Placid tournament!)

We've all seen it. Townies get all worked up over the kid who has played elsewhere, select kid's dad isn't on the B.O.D., kid's dad isn't a Beer League Hero with the Townie 'coaches,' there is animosity toward the kid because he's good enough for the very prestigious 'A Team' but to spite the kid they all laugh and place him on the B team where some of the kids should be skating with chairs and then when the kid packs up his bag and moves onto a good select team never to come back the locals all bad mouth the kid and the kid's family. . .
