It is a great reminder never to underestimate the segment of America that built this country on their backs...never discount White Trash, never.

Turns out it wasn't just uneducated white men. The dissatisfaction with the direction of our country is real, and it's not just about racism and xenophobia. Trump will be fine. His victory speech last night (this morning) was excellent. He's not as crazy as we all make him out to be. I didn't vote for him, but I'm going to support him. Anything less is truly un-American.

We should all be very concerned right now. Not because Trump won but more so because he was able to carry on the way he did and still win. It really is a testament to what a very bad , scary place our country has become. I tend to lean left but cannot support Hilary and allow things to continue on as they have. Better we burn it to the ground and start fresh!!

Hopefully Trump puts the right people and place and continues to call people out.

Let's hope he gets the economy going...

He definitely will for the top 1%, where almost all of his massive tax cuts are going. The poor working class *******s who bought his con aren't getting anything in tax cuts. And if they think he's bringing back the "golden age of manufacturing" in the rust belt, that's laughable. If he screws with NAFTA by increasing tarrifs, they'll be a trade war and likley another recession. If he takes away the Dodd Frank Wall Street regulations to hook up his rich pals, we could head for another global financial meltdown - and this time we don't have room in the Fed with interest rates to stabilize things.

The best thing he's talked about in terms of jobs for working guys is the infrastructure improvements. That will provide a lot of jobs and stimulate the economy. It will also cost a ton of cash, though. He's no fiscal conservative, his deficit is projected to increase dramatically, especially with his huge tax cuts for the rich.

He never showed us his tax returns and has endless financial conflicts all around the world where he will be incentivized to cut self-serving deals. You thought the Clinton Foundation was bad... Lol.

He's got a bunch of legal cases - women he's accused of raping/groping; he's being sued for fraud for Trump University, where he fleeced low income people of their tuition for a worthless diploma.

Let alone all the crazy, racist-sexist and anti-constitutional stuff he's spouted for months?

I get Hillary rubbed people the wrong way, but unless you're super rich and a misanthrope, what is it you guys like about Trump again? Everyone thinks Hillary should be locked up (and maybe she should) but I wouldn't be surprised to see Trump become our next Nixon given all his covert business dealIngs and conflicts.

The thing is, he will not get most of his crazy ideas through the first phase and any chance of implementation is almost zero. Upping Tariffs? Starting a trade war? Trying to bring basic low cost manufacturing back to America when it's now leaving China because it's becoming a 'high cost' place to do business...no chance. A college Economics student would advise against any of these hair brained schemes let alone real economic advisors. No chance it's happening. On a side note, where is he going to find all of this low wage labor without importing it? Building a wall, rounding-up illegals, stop the flow of goods....not happening. It's not like we have high unemployment to begin with.

But where he could do real damage is with the Supreme Court. But he is actually pretty moderate I think on social issues...more than bible thumping Pence.

To be honest, you have some valid points regarding Trump, what the people who voted for him are so confused about, is how you can ignore all that is/was wrong with Clinton.
