They are bad, they are 89 of 92 tier 1 teams in the country. After a combined score of 18-0 in two games this weekend they will drop further. Would be great if they made the right choice for the kids and dropped down but they didn't and so this is a lost season. For them and the teams that have to play them.
Any action by the league?
The shame of it is, they didn't really have to choose to play down, they could have opted to play in instead. Then they would have been placed where they belong. In other words, they had a pretty good compromise option if there were opposing views pre-season on where this team belonged. Mismanagement, plain and simple.
But the organization can always fall back on "being an E9" team, sounds much better then being a BHL team for the organization, regardless of the record.
Organizations want the most teams possible in the E9, and they don't really care about the records or effect it has, because it makes the organization look better from the outside.
No development team.
No 09 team
08 team opted out of E9
07 team kicked out of E9
06 team needs to be kicked out of E9
05 team thanks Fusco
04 team praying to get kicked out of E9
If I owned this org I think I would slam head in the door a couple times and wake myself up
maybe they don't want to compete with the select team or lovell told them to hold fast hes on the way to save them
Maybe the owners should come on down to skills tonight and see the sh#% show.
another 0-3-1. (thanks Flames tier 2 to give them a chance). weekend with 2 Gf and 16 GA... are you rotating kid in net... hope so for him...
How about they switch schedules with Assabet Valley for the rest of the season? Is that unreasonable? Then next year they have to play in.
Rangers front office could care less
