I know this is the wrong board but my son plays for them and likes it a lot. Good people run it and for town hockey the amount of ice time and skills are decent. Primarily kids from Scituate and Norwell with a few from Hull and Cohasset thrown in. As noted a lot of good south shore players have gotten their start there and I hear very little griping from parents about the way things are run (politics, etc.)

Yes you'll feel the heat from the hardcore parents for posting on the wrong board but good for you for liking your start in hockey. Eventually if your kid is interested in a more competitive hockey environment you can move along with the crazies and sign him up with a select team. Until then, enjoy the ride.
