Thinking of bringing my kid to tryouts... Anyone have a legitimate experience with this club that they can share? Good or bad, would love some genuine feedback if possible. Thanks!!
I am going on my third year in the program simply because of geography. My wife and I both work so driving more than 20 minutes one way isn't much of an option. The first year was decent, last year was absolutely horrible, and this season has been tremendous. The new directors are organized, transparent, and make sure the coaches do a good job developing the players in the program. When TW talks about improving the overall customer experience at Boch, he genuinely means it, even if that is just the means to improve his pocket. Regardless, it is great to hear that he just signed a five year deal after having had seven of them in the three years I've been there.

NT&TW are doing great things with the program.
It's moving in the right direction for sure.
The owner is letting them do there jobs and not getting involved.
Positive experience this past year.
Boch is a s**t show. Multiple teams left the organization this year for other programs. Supposed Elite teams entered Town Tournaments looking for a trophy and lost to Town A&B team. Boch owes more money than the federal deficit. Stay away.
Look elsewhere. The common denominator with all the trouble and failures at Boch is the owner. Some people think he is a "hot sh&T" an a "good guy" other people see him as a thief. Contractors are chasing him for unpaid bills, coaches quit mid-season, hockey ops directors come and go.
Most recently, tryouts were horrendous with some elite teams not even having enough players to field a team.
Don't throw your kid into a sh*tstorm. Shop around for a reputable organization with a decent coach at the Elite or Tier 1 level.
2003 and 2005 "Select" teams this year never made it into the BHL or any other league. They ended up as Scrimmage teams playing pick up games here and there. Never seen that happen with any other program.

They only placed like four teams in the BHL this year. That 05 team played in the 06 Division last year and still struggled, they let them in this year, only to give them the boot after a 12-0 blowout first game !
that sounds like a successful program to me.... only people touting this program are the kids that were taken this year and now the parents think they are playing for a real club.
Have your head examined if you play for this program !
hello,
I have been at Boch for 56 years and have seen a positive switch with the addition of
Nik Tasiopoulos, President of Militia, and Tom Walsh. Two young but motivated ex athletes that want to help ignite Mass youth!!:)
too bad people went to Rodman but oh well there loss and best of luck to them:)

Got a good laugh from your knowing how to spell Tasiopoulos correctly but you don't know the difference between "there" and "their."
